About the role
The Overnight Assistant Residence Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of residents in a residential care facility. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the residence including meal preparation, housekeeping, and resident care activities.
- Manage and train staff to ensure high standards of care and service.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other staff members.
- Handle emergencies and incidents promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage staff and handle crisis situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
