Overhead Crane Service Technician II

About the role

The Service Technician II will travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment
• Troubleshoot issues
• Perform repairs
• Modify equipment as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of crane service technician experience
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills
• Willingness to travel and work in production environments, with some overnight travel possible
• Ability to operate company phone and computer
• Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner
• Ability to work extended hours and on holidays as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday
• Lift/Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted
• Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently
• Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance
• Hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine)
• Depth perception and peripheral vision
• Ability to hear

Working Conditions

• Subject to working frequently at considerable heights

Pay

Competitive pay- $30.00 per hour + based on experience
