Overhead Crane Operator

About the role

This position works on the warehouse floor, processing orders via overhead crane. You will send and accept shipments while keeping the warehouse clean and safe at all times. The ideal candidate has experience working in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.

Responsibilities

• Process orders using an overhead crane
• Send and accept shipments
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment

Requirements

• Prior experience working with overhead cranes is a plus but not required
• Prior knowledge of warehouse paperwork is preferred
• Knowledge of and familiarity with a warehouse management system
• Experience operating power equipment and forklifts is a plus
• Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, and lift for extended periods

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 1 year of experience is preferred
