Overages, Shortages & Damages Associate

You’ll contribute your strong attention to detail to sustainability efforts by repurposing damaged items, examining goods for defects, and providing our customers with the highest quality products.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and remove damaged product from the case and repackage the salvageable product to return to the warehouse
• Stack product that cannot be sold to customers on a pallet, shrink wrap, and load on a trailer to be shipped to another facility
• Record receipt of returned products from in-bound trailers in the proper manner
• Keep work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking product

Work Environment

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, and pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, and carpet
• Frequently lifting product weighing between 1–60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box-cutting tools
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Grocery (dry goods) environment – about 50°–90°

Pay

$21.00 per hour
