Key Responsibilities
- Greet golfers upon arrival and assist with unloading golf bags from vehicles if needed.
- Provide a friendly and professional first impression of the golf facility.
- Answer basic questions about course layout, pace of play, practice areas, and facility amenities.
- Aid guests with loading golf bags onto carts and directing them to the first tee, practice areas, or clubhouse.
Cart Fleet Management
- Clean, sanitize, and stage golf carts for daily play.
- Ensure carts are fully charged or fueled and stocked with scorecards, pencils, sand bottles, and other required items.
- Organize carts efficiently to maintain smooth player flow throughout the day.
- Collect carts from the course and return them to the cart staging or charging area.
Practice Facility Maintenance
- Pick up and clean range balls as scheduled.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the driving range, putting greens, and short-game areas.
- Refill range ball dispensers and baskets as needed.
Course & Facility Support
- Maintain cleanliness around the cart barn, bag drop, and staging areas.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of golf is helpful but not mandatory.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry golf bags (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to operate golf carts and light equipment safely.
Work Schedule
- Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays highly desired.
- Shifts may begin early in the morning and end late in the evening depending on course tee times and tournaments.
