Outside Service Attendant
Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club, located in Surprise, AZ, is seeking a motivated individual to contribute to a positive experience for members and guests while growing their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you’ll be part of a global leader in golf and community management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot.
- Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
- Provide sincere and courteous service to all guests, including bag handling and club cleaning.
- Maintain the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
- Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Prepare golf carts for play following Troon Golf standards.
- Educate players on course policy, cart policy, and speed of play.
- Assist players by changing golf spikes when needed.
- Perform range maintenance, including presenting practice balls, bag stands, den caddies, and ball pyramids, and maintain ball inventory throughout the day.
- Direct the start of play when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
- Service customers renting golf clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
- Assist with food and beverage activities.
- Clean golfers' clubs upon completion of play.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months to a year of customer service experience or training.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
