Outside Sales Support Specialist

Mansfield Service Partners is seeking an Outside Sales Support Specialist for our Dayton, OH location.

Responsibilities

• Customer Support – Assist and support customers and outside sales team with requests, including:
  • Answering phones, customer account look-up, placing fuel orders (or routing to the appropriate department)
  • Providing fuel order status updates and ETAs
  • Sending copies of PODs, invoices, or other requested documents
  • Generating daily reports, including usage reports or KPI documents
  • Assisting the sales team with documentation for customer set-ups, quotes, and proposals
• SMARTank – Monitor portal to check fuel levels as needed to maximize orders and initiate equipment service requests
• Orders –
  • Receive, enter, process, and dispatch (if applicable) order requests for the Fuel Department
  • Maintain scheduled orders and update the master list accordingly
  • Update orders with correct pricing, product, gallons, PO, and ship-to locations
  • Review and check for accuracy to avoid billing or payment delays
• Vendors –
  • Source new vendors nationally as needed and negotiate deliveries and pricing
  • Utilize the MSP vendor portal and approval process to set up new vendors
  • Maintain the vendor database for emergency or ASAP orders
  • Dispatch to common carriers, including sending MSP’s Pull Points (Supply Points)
  • Source third-party or common carrier transportation for delivering light products to remote customers
• Special Customer Support – Provide cradle-to-grave support for national accounts, including:
  • Utilizing special programs such as Corrigo or Ariba
  • Personalized customer service, communication, and reporting
• Vendor Invoices –
  • Receive, enter, process, verify, and approve vendor invoices using the vendor packet for approval or assignment in Concur
  • Review vendor invoices to ensure MSP profitability
• Attend and complete various safety and IT trainings
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment

The position is located in an office. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time and occasionally stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. The incumbent frequently lifts up to 10 lbs.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in either fuel distribution or light industrial sectors
• Previous experience with PDI Enterprise, SkyBitz, & Axxis is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM

Pay

Position pays $18 - $21/hour and is eligible for an annual bonus of up to $1,500.
