Responsibilities
- Lead and Support the Outside Sales Team
- Supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate Outside Sales Representatives.
- Review weekly productivity, pipeline status, and performance metrics; conduct bi-monthly performance reviews.
- Provide guidance on deal strategy, contract path selection, scope development, and pricing.
- Partner with inside sales and adjacent team leads to align priorities and ensure smooth collaboration.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, timekeeping, and performance standards.
- Conduct team meetings to communicate updates, training, and process improvements.
- Drive Sales Growth
- Perform all core outside sales activities, including customer needs assessments, quoting, relationship management, and CRM utilization.
- Conduct technical site visits to evaluate customer applications and identify opportunities.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key industry partners, vendors, and suppliers.
- Pursue new prospects and business development opportunities across assigned regions.
- Attend trade shows and networking events (in-person and online) to promote EST products and services.
- Operational Excellence
- Maintain and responsibly manage assigned company property (vehicle, computer, etc.).
- Travel extensively throughout the U.S. to support customers, team members, and business development initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of successful direct sales experience, preferably in industrial or government sales environments.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
- Proven ability to exceed quotas and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
- 2–4 years of experience working with government contracts.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or electronic systems is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (ZOHO preferred).
- Excellent communication, customer orientation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the U.S.; valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport, military base passes, and other access credentials.
