What You’ll Do
- Sell service contracts and coverage for forklifts and vertical products to new and existing customers in your territory.
- Possess strong relationship-building, qualifying, and consultative selling skills; demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Closely manage prospects, opportunities, and renewals; effectively upsell preventive maintenance, extended warranties, emergency service, and remote monitoring.
- Lead account reviews, need assessments, and solution-based proposals using the company CRM.
- Coordinate orders, service scheduling, maintenance visits, and delivery; ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers, Service, Parts, and OEM partners; track pipeline and performance metrics.
- Provide market insights to sharpen sales strategies and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven outside sales experience in forklift/material handling, with a track record of selling service contracts or maintenance programs.
- Strong relationship-building, qualifying, and consultative selling skills; excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Able to close service contracts, renewals, and upsell opportunities; proficient with CRM, MS Office, and quoting tools.
- Able to manage multiple accounts and travel within the territory as needed.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
Preferred
- Knowledge of forklifts, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Experience tailoring service contracts and vertical product solutions.
