Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and consultation to project delivery and follow-up.
  • Consult with clients to understand their branding and signage needs, providing expert recommendations on materials, finishes, and wide-format applications.
  • Collaborate with the production and design teams to ensure technical specifications are met and projects are delivered on time.
  • Prepare and present professional quotes and proposals using standard retail pricing and internal Estimating tools.
  • Maintain and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new printing technologies, and competitor activity.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience specifically within the printing, signage, or wide-format industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of large-format printing, vinyl applications, fabrication, and commercial offset processes.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with business owners and marketing executives.
  • Organization: Strong CRM management skills and the ability to handle multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Independence: Self-motivated with a "hunter" mentality and the ability to work effectively in the field.

Preferred Skills

  • Established booking of business or strong local networks in the Orange County/Southern California area.
  • Familiarity with digital workflow tools and project management software.
  • Experience selling to industries such as retail, construction, events, or corporate branding.
