Outside Sales Representative
Position Description
KeyTrak, a division of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking a top sales performer in a competitive market. KeyTrak was the first company to use a computerized drawer to safeguard and track keys and assets, and to develop industry-specific software. Having spent three decades improving and perfecting the art of asset management, KeyTrak is considered the industry leader in key control and is dedicated to constantly evolving and producing more secure systems.
Responsibilities
- Sell KeyTrak's key control solutions to the automotive market in an assigned territory.
- Grow your customer base while managing and maintaining customer accounts and relationships.
- Develop your own leads and build your client base through sales to new and/or existing accounts within your market.
- Prospect potential customers to demonstrate the features and benefits of products, present proposals, and close deals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of outside sales experience
- Strong closing and negotiating skills
- Able to lift, carry, and maneuver 70lbs of demonstration equipment to customer sites
- Goal-oriented, coachable, organized, and creative
- Experience in new business sales is preferred
- Able to travel, overnight with hotel stays up to 2-3 nights/week
- Recent cold-calling experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license, with fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years and no OVI/DUI/DWI violations in the last five years

Pay
The base salary is $50,000, and the total targeted compensation for the first year is expected to be $85,000/year including commissions.
Schedule
You will complete ten different courses at Reynolds University throughout your first year, covering topics such as sales techniques, negotiations, dealership operations, and in-depth product training on our Dealership Retail Management System.
