Outside Sales Representative

About the role

Sales Focus Inc. is hiring Outside Sales Representatives in the Columbus area to represent Constellation Energy — the nation’s largest producer of carbon‑free energy. This is an in‑person B2B field sales position where you will work your own territory, meet local business owners face‑to‑face, and show them how a fixed‑rate energy plan from a Fortune 200 supplier protects them from rising rates. No prior sales experience is required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Work an assigned territory in the greater Columbus area, visiting local businesses in person.
• Engage with owners and decision‑makers about the benefits of deregulated energy while locking in fixed energy rates for both electric and natural gas utilities.
• Close sales on the spot and build your own book of business.
• Track your pipeline with coaching and support from a local sales manager.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a competitive, goal‑oriented mindset.
• Comfort initiating face‑to‑face conversations with business owners.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
• 18 years or older and able to work full‑time in Columbus and surrounding areas.
• No prior sales experience required; paid training will teach the necessary skills.

Pay

• Guaranteed base pay paid bi‑weekly plus uncapped commission.
• On‑target earnings $75,000–$100,000+ per year.
• Retention bonus: $1,000 milestone bonus paid after marks in tenure.
• Additional bonuses and performance incentives throughout the year.
