About the role
As an Outside Sales Representative with Midwest Best Block, you are responsible for:
- BUILDING CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS
- PROMOTING PRODUCTS THE COMPANY OFFERS
- GENERATING NEW SALES OPPORTUNITIES
- SUSPENDING SALES OUTSIDE OF THE ORGANIZATION
- SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS TO MEET WITH CUSTOMERS AND REVIEW PROJECTS, PRODUCT NEEDS, AND CONDUCT SALES PRESENTATIONS
- DESIGNING PROFESSIONAL PRESENTATIONS OF OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
- ATTENDING CONFERENCES AND TRADE SHOWS
- UPDATING CUSTOMERS ON PRODUCT CHANGES
- MANTAINING ACCURATE ACCOUNT INFORMATION
- AIDING IN EXPENSE MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING
- COLLABORATING WITH MANAGEMENT TO FIND EFFECTIVE SALES STRATEGIES
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Maintain GOOD SALESMANSHIP WHILE PRIORITIZING COMPANY CONFIDENTIALITY
- HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS
- HAVE A SALES-ORIENTED MENTALITY
- BE OPEN TO CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AND HAVE A WILLINGNESS TO ADAPT THEIR STRATEGIES
- BE A COMMUNICATIVE TEAM-PLAYER!
Qualifications
The following qualifications are preferred:
- PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN SALES
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- ABILITY TO MANAGE MULTIPLE TASKS SIMULTANEOUSLY
- KNOWLEDGE OF THE LOCAL MARKET AND COMPETITOR'S PRODUCTS
