Job Overview
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with key industry partners, and driving sales growth in the luxury residential and commercial markets. This role requires a consultative approach, helping clients design custom AV, lighting, and automation solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Proactively seek and develop new sales opportunities within the high-end residential and commercial sectors.
- Industry Networking: Build and maintain relationships with builders, architects, and designers to generate leads and establish long-term partnerships.
- Consultative Selling: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized smart home and automation solutions.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Drive high-value sales through a relationship-based, long-term sales cycle.
- Project Collaboration: Work alongside engineers, designers, and installers to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technology to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven Sales Experience: 3+ years in AV, home automation, or luxury residential sales preferred.
- Track Record of Success: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Consultative Sales Approach: Ability to analyze client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Relationship Builder: Experience working with builders, architects, and designers to develop long-term partnerships.
- Self-Starter & Goal-Oriented: Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.

Base Salary: $40,000 - $55,000
