Outside Sales Representative

About the role

We are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative at our Commercial Truck and Van (CTV) location in Georgia. The ideal candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Create and achieve an annual budget for the identified market (DEVELOP / MAINTAIN / GROW)
• Achieve revenue goals for a specified percentage of market opportunity
• Solicit orders for upfitted vans from dealers' inventory
• Collaborate with the inside sales team to deliver a one-team approach for the customer experience before, during and after the sale
• Work with Sales Manager to ensure customer solution proposed is suitable for BOTH the customer and CTV - responsible for building a mutually beneficial partnership
• Partner with strategic partners to perform joint consultations and create solutions with customers in the market, as opportunities become available

Requirements

• Ability to HUNT and FARM simultaneously
• Strong hunter (GROW)
• Effective farmer (MAINTAIN + DEVELOP)
• Attitude and teamwork
• Strong knowledge of basic van interiors and ladder racks
• Results-oriented. Exceeds goals and pushes self and team
• Strong listening skills
• Empathy for the customer
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills (all forms)
• Ability to deal with conflict effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; company will consider a combination of education and experience
• Strong Office Knowledge and Calendar Skills
