Outside Sales Rep

About the Role

Join Janney Roofing as a full-time Outside Sales Representative in Tampa, FL, and help homeowners restore their home exteriors after storms, accidents, or wear over time. This role is ideal for those looking to apply their sales skills while making a positive impact in the community.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, with some Saturdays as needed (9:00 am to 2:00 pm).

Pay

Average earnings of $65,000–$75,000+/year with uncapped commissions. A draw is provided to ensure steady pay from your first day, with earnings growing directly based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Canvass neighborhoods and engage with local homeowners
• Discuss prospective customers’ remodeling or restoration needs and promote services
• Climb ladders to inspect roofs
• Answer questions, address concerns, and book service appointments
• Manage time effectively and provide professional customer service
• Track sales success digitally
• Strive for continuous improvement in sales performance

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving record
• Ability to obtain a solicitation permit
• Physical ability to walk through neighborhoods and climb ladders regularly
• Willingness to travel to different neighborhoods and local offices as needed
• 3–5 years of roofing, exterior remodeling, or in-home sales experience (preferred)
• 3–5 years of successful residential window sales experience (preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
