About the role

As a Pest Control Consultant, you’ll sell the company's industry-leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers. You’ll be the face of our national brand in your local community, helping clients protect their homes and families. This role involves assessing customer needs, consulting on solutions, and closing sales of pest control services.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance for residential customers based on assessment findings.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to increase sales opportunities.
• Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue streams within the current customer base.
• Develop proposals for customers to resolve existing pest issues and suggest additional enhancements.
• Complete home diagrams using the Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of customer homes and potential challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure job completion satisfaction.
• Complete daily activities and track sales performance using the company’s sales CRM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from your current state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; sales experience or training is a plus.
• Preferred: 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territory(s).

Essential Job Functions

• Regularly lift, carry, push, pull, or reposition objects up to 10 lbs., and frequently handle objects up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent movement including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles; maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
• Comfortably work with pests (e.g., spiders, flies, mosquitos, rodents) and in small spaces (basements, crawl spaces, attics).
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as OSHA-compliant respirators, and work in confined spaces or narrow passageways.

Pay

• Competitive base salary + uncapped commission.
• Year 1 On-Target Earnings: $60,000+.
• Top Earner Potential: $100,000+ per year.
