Responsibilities
- Lead sales activities to maximize sales growth, margin targets, market share, and overall company objectives.
- Show strong sales leadership with solid business acumen.
- Develop strong business relationships through face to face sales calls and relationship building activities.
- Cultivate customers in this new area of business.
- Determine what motivates each customer to purchase and respond accordingly.
- Implement and execute sales growth strategies that are consistent with the company’s strategic plans.
- Develop a culture of creativity in approach to business development.
- Work with Branch Manager to develop and execute sales growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or work equivalent.
- 2 plus years of experience in sales.
- Internet Research.
- Ability to use software to create presentations, word documents, and spreadsheets.
- Successful track record of selling in the building materials industry and home center/hardware stores preferred.
- Fence or building materials industry experience desired.
- Able to travel overnight as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Requirements
This position requires one or two days a week working from the branch office making outbound calls, creating quotes and orders, assisting customers, and completing day-to-day administrative tasks. The majority of the time will be spent in the field meeting with existing and potential customers.
