About the role
Cadence Technologies is a subsidiary of Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, a national distributor for leading process component manufacturers. We support food and beverage manufacturing companies with replacement parts and new processing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Account Management
- Increase margins with established high-volume customers
- Expand and diversify product offering with established customers
- Achieve year-over-year growth with each responsible account
- Identify new accounts through traditional business development methods
- Contact Management
- Develop strong relationships with client decision-makers
- Analyze pain points and barriers for value creation
- Collaborate with manufacturer representatives for training and product solution development
- Product Sales Development
- Implement aggressive pricing strategies
- Sell above list price to harvest value
- Promote and sell Cadence services
- Technical Development
- Provide industry insights
- Train maintenance personnel on supported products
- Offer technical support for products from supported manufacturers
- Sales Campaigns
- Promote and market new products or services
- Collect feedback and gauge interest from clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial equipment sales or related field
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to identify growth opportunities
- Technical aptitude to provide product training and support
- Willingness to travel and manage a diverse account portfolio

Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Experience working with service technicians on capital equipment
- Relevant sanitary process industry knowledge is a plus
Travel
80% to 100% - Regional travel to customer facilities, manufacturer training and general client support.
