Outside Sales – Northern Alabama / Greater Huntsville Area

Bertelkamp Automation is an industry-leading factory automation distributor seeking an Outside Sales Engineer to strengthen, preserve, and grow our market in the northern AL / Greater Huntsville Area.

Responsibilities

• Service existing customer base immediately using required product knowledge
• Develop new customers within the first year
• Build long-term relationships with decision makers
• Understand and solve technical problems and applications

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales or applying pneumatic and electromechanical components, control systems for automated equipment, or industrial robotic systems
• First-hand knowledge of industrial markets in the northern AL/Huntsville area and surrounding areas
• Based in northern AL or greater Huntsville area
• Highly professional verbal and written communication skills
• Competitive, results-oriented with a proven record of success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience
