Outside Sales – Northeastern North Carolina

About the role

Bertelkamp Automation is seeking an Outside Sales Engineer to strengthen, preserve, and grow our market in the northern Alabama / Greater Huntsville area. This role focuses on technical sales of pneumatic and electromechanical components, control systems for automated equipment, and industrial robotic systems.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain the existing customer base with immediate product knowledge.
• Develop new customers within the first year.
• Build long-term relationships with decision makers in industrial markets.
• Understand and solve technical problems and applications through professional communication.

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales or applying pneumatic and electromechanical components, control systems, or industrial robotic systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• First-hand knowledge of industrial markets in the northern Alabama/Huntsville area and surrounding regions.
• Based in northern Alabama or the greater Huntsville area.
• Highly professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Competitive, results-oriented mindset with a proven record of success.
