Outside Sales Consultant

About the Role

Perfection Fence is seeking several passionate, highly motivated sales team members to join our growing company based in Marshfield, MA. In this role, you will meet with customers, listen to their needs, and help them design and create fences, pergolas, railings, and other architectural metalwork and landscape accessories tailored to their lifestyle. You will be responsible for completing scheduled appointments and expanding your book of business by engaging with landscape architects, architects, builders, and other professionals in your designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home sales appointments to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Build and maintain relationships with landscape architects, architects, builders, and contractors.
• Prospect and network to generate new business opportunities.
• Work trade shows and other events to promote Perfection Fence products.
• Close both company-generated and self-generated leads.
• Focus on needs analysis, proper product recommendations, and thorough communication throughout the sales cycle to build customer trust.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Prior experience in commission-based sales, with a history of earnings exceeding $100,000.
• Experience in canvassing, relationship building, prospecting, networking, and working trade shows.
• Demonstrated track record in closing leads, both company-generated and self-generated.
• Positive outlook, pride in accomplishments, and a "can-do" attitude.
• History of working with high-performance sales teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Prior in-home sales experience is beneficial but not required.
