Outside Sales

Key Responsibilities

• Possess and develop new business within an assigned territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, general contractors, and end users.
• Conduct onsite visits to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate door, gate, and access control solutions.
• Sell service agreements, repairs, retrofits, and new installation projects.
• Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and scope of work.
• Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM.
• Maintain and meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Stay current on products, industry trends, and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable conducting onsite meetings and job walks.
• Ability to read plans, scopes, or basic construction documents (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial door hardware, automatic doors, gate operators, or access control systems.
• Selling to property management groups, HOAs, municipalities, or general contractors.
• CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceTitan, or similar).
