Salary Range
Position eligible for Account Manager Commission Program, base salary range $37,500-$133,125, total compensation varies based on assigned accounts and GP$.
About the role
DSG seeks an HVAC Outside Sales Account Manager for northeast Minnesota territory, including Koochiching, Itasca, Saint Louis, Lake, Carlton, and Cook Counties. Hybrid work schedule available with occasional travel to Grand Rapids, MN branch.
Responsibilities
- Establish, manage, and maintain strong customer relationships and accounts
- Respond to and call on customers as necessary
- Identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and territory growth
- Develop new customer opportunities and accounts
- Promote and demonstrate new products and marketing programs
- Process customer orders, correct orders, respond to inquiries, and suggest improvements for the order process
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, postsecondary degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Two or more years of college or technical school experience in HVAC products, or three to five years of field experience
- Proven track record of successful territory development
- Three to five years of sales experience
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow-through/follow-up
- Basic understanding of HVAC software and programs
- Familiarity with DSG Web Commerce and ability to instruct customers
- Excellent time management skills
