Job Responsibilities
- Manage an established portfolio of hospitality accounts to drive MRO sales.
- Travel consistently more than 20% of the average work week to visit customers.
- Prospect for new accounts and retain existing ones.
- Develop and implement plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
- Share market insights and competitor information with relevant channels.
- Collaborate with leadership to analyze market trends and customer needs.
- Attend monthly business meetings and engage in local trade shows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct sales experience to Hospitality customers.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Passion for customer service.
- Organizational skills and tech-savvy.
- CRM experience - Salesforce or similar.
- Knowledge in facilities products such as hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, and HVAC product lines.
- Experience with consultative and solution selling.
- Able to develop call plans and proactively develop new business.
- Able to learn new techniques and open to new ideas.
- Must reside within the territory of coverage.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Job Summary
This position offers a competitive base salary plus a monthly sales incentive plan. Additional benefits include a laptop, cell phone, and monthly expenses. The position requires operation of a personal vehicle, which is used more than 20% of the average work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is a requirement for this position.
Nature of Work
The position requires increasing independence and may provide guidance to junior level support or professional personnel. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
Education and Experience
Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline or MS/MA with 2-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
