Job Responsibilities

  • Developing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for OSP construction and upgrades
  • Supervising field crews and subcontractors during installation of fiber cables, underground conduits, and aerial infrastructure
  • Cooordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met
  • Inspecting completed work to meet safety and performance standards
  • Maintaining accurate records of project progress, expenses, and changes, and providing updates to stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, or related degree
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Proficiency with project management software and GIS systems
  • Experience with fiber optic networks, splicing, testing, and construction standards
  • Strategic Development, Critical Thinking, Adaptability, & Execution
  • Communication & Collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • OSP engineering experience
  • Start-up experience
  • Experience with 3 GIS and/or ESRI

Pay

Expected Salary Range: [$105,000 - $165,000] Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus

Schedule

Travel Requirement: 25%

About the Role

The Outside Plant (OSP) Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and completion of outside plant (OSP) telecommunications projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of Project Management experience. Proficiency with project management software and GIS systems, experience with fiber optic networks, splicing, testing, and construction standards, strategic development, critical thinking, adaptability, and execution are required. Start-up experience and experience with 3 GIS and/or ESRI are preferred.
