Outside Parts Sales Representative

I-State Truck Center in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking an Outside Parts Sales Representative to drive heavy-duty truck parts sales, develop new customer relationships, and provide exceptional service throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow heavy-duty truck parts sales within an established territory
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits and follow-up communications
• Assist customers with parts solutions and technical product support
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity
• Promote Interstate's value-added products and service offerings
• Maintain accurate sales records and customer account information

Requirements

• 3+ years of outside sales experience
• Experience selling commercial truck, heavy equipment, automotive, industrial, or aftermarket parts preferred
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Additional sales, business, or technical training is a plus
