Outside Parts Sales Representative

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary representative within an assigned territory, conducting regular in-person visits to fleet operators, repair shops, and municipal clients to build and maintain strong partnerships.
  • Participate in company-provided training to develop a strong understanding of heavy-duty and medium-duty truck parts, enabling you to confidently recommend solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Proactively identify new sales opportunities while nurturing existing accounts to foster long-term customer relationships and sustained revenue growth.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Self-motivated professional and a willingness to learn the commercial truck industry.
  • Results-oriented individual that is motivated to achieve goals and contribute to the company’s growth.
  • Effective time manager and one that knows how to effectively take initiative in the field.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions

  • Regular travel within an assigned territory
  • Moderate to high noise levels due to proximity to shop areas
  • Occasional exposure to fumes and shop environment conditions
  • Work performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Qualifications

Skills
