About the role

New England Tractor Trailer Training School (NETTTS) is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Somers, CT (and surrounding area). The position offers a starting salary of $58,000/year, with negotiation based on experience. The schedule is Monday - Saturday (with a flexible requirement).

Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective students and their families at scheduled appointments, primarily in their homes, and occasionally at nearby community locations.
  • Share information about NETTTS programs, tuition, and training pathways.
  • Guide candidates through the next steps in the admissions process, connecting them with the Financial Aid team as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and provide timely updates to the Inside Admissions team.
  • Represent NETTTS professionally and enthusiastically, helping candidates feel informed and supported.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in admissions, sales, or a customer-facing role (experience in trucking, trades, or education is a plus).
  • A High School Diploma/GED is required; higher education is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow a schedule with attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel locally for scheduled appointments.
