OTHRVolunteer
The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. We have a variety of opportunities to offer volunteers throughout the state of Connecticut. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, as examples. Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic members of our team without whom we could not work towards an end to the Alzheimer's disease. , Turn a weekly mahjong table into a meaningful fundraiser. What you'll do Connect with mahjong groups, senior centers, libraries, and community centers; help organizers host game-day fundraisers; share stories of how social connection and brain-healthy activities matter. Ideal for Passionate Mahjong players, game-night hosts, or anyone with ties to community and cultural groups. About Do What You Love To End ALZ Do What You Love to End ALZ (DWYL) invites people to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association by doing something they already enjoy, whether that's a class, a hike, a game night, or a coffee meetup.
