Outreach Director

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Outreach Director to lead our community engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing successful outreach programs, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to increase awareness and support for neurological health issues.
• Collaborate with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community leaders to enhance our reach and impact.
• Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and webinars to educate the public about neurological conditions and available resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to secure funding and partnerships.
• Monitor and evaluate outreach activities to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in public health, communications, social work, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in community outreach, event management, or program development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience working with neurology-related organizations or a background in neurological disorders is a plus.
