About the Program

Walsh Kokosing Joint Venture (WKJV) has developed a Business and Workforce Engagement (BWE) Program designed to identify, educate, and assist firms to become involved in the project. The BWE Team leads outreach efforts to connect people, firms, and organizations with opportunities and help spread the word about them.

Outreach Events

The BWE Team spreads the word about project opportunities through events at the project’s outreach office at Longworth Hall, community events, and events hosted by outside organizations. To inform the BWE Team about an upcoming event, email bsbbwe@walshgroup.com.

BWE Task Forces

The BWE Task Forces leverage community knowledge to ensure the BWE Program is as effective as possible. Each task force includes members of the Walsh Kokosing Team, the Bi-State Management Team, and representatives from organizations with relevant expertise, ideas, and connections. These task forces meet regularly to guide the team’s efforts.
