Responsibilities
- Coordinate ordering of required stock and maintain adequate inventory levels of books, clothing, and souvenir items for the Outpost throughout the season.
- Search for diverse and unique educational products for the Outpost and provide recommendations to the Executive Director for implementation.
- Care for and maintain adequate records for incoming stock – sorting, counting, pricing, displaying, adding to the online store, and storage of extra stock.
- Ensure Bell Lake Location has adequate stock for the Summer Season.
- Manage the online store to make sure products are sent out in a timely manner and new items are added upon arrival with correct shipping costs.
- Maintain accurate records for vendor sales and Bell Lake invoices for sales reporting.
- Provide leadership in selecting, training, supervising and monitoring retail team.
- Assign tasks to Outpost Team Members as required.
- Conduct monthly check-ins with Outpost Team Members.
- Provide information about FOKP’s mandate and activities.
- Provide information on Killarney Provincial Park and area attractions.
- Assist members of the public who are interested in purchasing park maps, field guides, and other items available for purchase from FOKP.
- Perform cash handling duties, prepare daily sales summaries, inventory counts and pricing and stocking of store products.
- Maintain a clean and professional looking work and display area and present a clean, professional personal appearance.
- Oversee Outpost Lending Programs.
- Attend and assist with various programs (e.g. Artist in Residence).

- An understanding of retail management, inventory control measures and sales summaries.
- Experience with Google Suite software programs (docs, sheets, etc…).
- Time management and organization in overseeing two other staff members.
- A knowledge of Killarney Provincial Park and area and its associated natural and cultural resources is advantageous.
- An understanding of non-profit administration is considered an asset.
- Mediating and negotiating skills to deal with normal and special situations are important.
Skills

Pay
$20.00 per/hour + 4% vacation pay.
