Outpatient Therapist Walk in Center
About The Role
We’re hiring an Outpatient Therapist to join our Walk-In Clinic (WIC) team in North Carolina. In this role, you’ll provide therapy and crisis intervention for adults, children, and families seeking immediate behavioral health support. You’ll conduct assessments, coordinate ongoing treatment, and connect clients with community resources to ensure they receive the right care at the right time. This is a fast-paced, client-focused position ideal for a licensed or provisionally licensed therapist looking to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention for walk-in clients
- Develop and coordinate individualized treatment plans and case management support
- Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and documentation in accordance with agency standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective service delivery
- Collect and report data related to client outcomes and program effectiveness
- Participate in clinical meetings, training, and supervision
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a Human Services field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology)
- Unrestricted or provisional North Carolina licensure (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS, or associate equivalents)
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-centered environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing crisis counseling or outpatient therapy
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral interventions, and evidence-based practices
- Experience with both adult and child populations
