Outpatient Therapist, Full-time MF 12:30pm - 9pm

What We Do

Charter Oak Hospital offers compassionate and individualized treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. We believe in a patient-centric approach, where every treatment plan is tailored to meet the specific needs of each person who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family therapies using various professional treatment modalities
• Participates in the formulation of patient's treatment plans, goals and objectives
• Develops and coordinates an individualized discharge plan for the patient by utilizing treatment team and written chart information to determine the patient's aftercare needs
• Accesses by phone or written correspondence family or community resources such as group homes, or private mental health practitioners to meet patients' aftercare needs

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field required
• BBS Registration (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, AMFT, ASW, or APCC) required
• Current BLS for healthcare provider card upon hire
• THERAPEUTIC OPTIONS™ training to be obtained prior to providing direct patient care without a preceptor
• If you currently have an Associate license such as ASW, APCC, we offer clinical supervision for BBS hour accrual towards licensure

Pay ranges: BBS Registration $30.00-$36.00 BBS License $36.00-$43.00

We are located on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Covina, California. Covina is about 22 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, in the San Gabriel Valley, close to 10, 60 and 210 FWY.
