Northeast Family Services is expanding its Outpatient Mental Health Clinic and seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) who is EMDR trained or certified to join the clinical team. This is a fee-for-service, hybrid position with flexibility and growth opportunities. The ideal clinician is trauma-informed, grounded in evidence-based practice, and comfortable providing psychotherapy to children and adults in an outpatient setting.

About the role

Hybrid opportunity in our New Rochelle and Bronx clinic locations. Language differential provided for Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Hindi.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing clinical care.
  • Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions, including EMDR, to address trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and related concerns.
  • Demonstrate clinical competency in working with trauma histories and complex presentations.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, and team meetings as required.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, agency policies, and New York State regulations.

Requirements

  • Active New York State LCSW or LMHC (required).
  • EMDR trained (Part 1 & Part 2 completed) or EMDR certified.
  • Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy.
  • Comfort working with children and adult populations.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage caseload independently within productivity expectations.
  • Access to a laptop or computer, secure internet, and a phone required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available at this time).

Pay

Fee-for-service: $70 - $100 per hour. Premiums paid for non-English language capacity and select clinical specialties.
