About the role
Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) empowers individuals and strengthens communities through meaningful connections. We are seeking a compassionate and caring Outpatient Therapist to provide therapy to clients living with mental health and/or substance use challenges in our outpatient clinic in Jacksonville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments to develop meaningful treatment goals and person-centered plans (PCPs).
- Design and lead therapy groups to foster connection and growth.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree and mental health licensure are required.
- LCSW (A), LCMHC (A), LCAS (A) dual licensure preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and group facilitation, crisis intervention, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proficiency with EHR systems or technical savvy.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation for work-related travel.
