ColumbiaCare Services is a non-profit, behavioral health and Veteran’s service agency offering a full spectrum of programming to help people get better. We specialize in providing outpatient services, residential treatment programs, mental health housing, and other supports in therapeutic service settings.
About the role
We have an opportunity for two Outpatient Therapists to provide clinical services at our Central Clinic in Medford, Oregon. The Outpatient Therapist reports to the Outpatient Clinical Manager for day-to-day supervision and work assignments.
- Perform Provisional Assessments for individuals experiencing crisis.
- Provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers.
- Receive crisis de-escalation training, which includes performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques.
- Eligible to participate in our supervision toward licensure program after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period (if desired).
Our Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services. The Psychiatric Services Team operates as a branch within the Outpatient Program, specializing in psychiatric, nursing, and medication services, provided both on-site and remotely through telemedicine.

Responsibilities
- Perform Provisional Assessments for individuals in crisis.
- Provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff.
- Liaise with other community providers.
- Participate in crisis de-escalation training involving physical techniques.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration. Eligibility requires:
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Current LCSW or LPC is strongly preferred.
- Unlicensed therapists must be actively seeking or willing to obtain licensure.
- Two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting is preferred.
- If not already registered as a QMHP through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within the first week of employment.
- Must pass a DHS criminal background check.
Skills
- Ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers.
- Ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 20 pounds.

Pay
$6,400 - $7,500 per month, based on experience and credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates.
- Unlicensed: $6,400 - $7,000 per month.
- Professional Oregon Mental Health License: $7,000 - $7,500 per month.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (Full Time, Day).
