About the role

This role is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a clinical setting, primarily in outpatient perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking to ensure individualized care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams through effective communication methods such as bedside reports and rounds.
• Coordinate safe, efficient, and culturally competent care.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and participate in research and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to support professional development.
• Manage resources, develop protocols, and actively participate in quality improvement activities to promote safe and effective patient care.
