Scope Of Position

The team provides patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes, maximizing the patients involvement in his/her own plan of care and reducing the length of hospitalization.
Position Summary
The Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and his/her family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
Minimum Education Required
- 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
- Current Ohio licensure or interim permit.
- Previous surgical center experience preferred.
Provided Specialized Nursing Care
- Conducted patient assessments.
- Administered medications.
- Made sure there were no adverse reactions.
- Provided patient education.
- Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Pay
