Outpatient RN

Position Summary

To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice.

Primary Position Responsibilities

• Initial Intake
• Patient Room Preparation, Before and After Care
• Patient Order Point of Care
• Patient Safety
• Attend Staff Meetings

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Required - Nursing diploma, Preferred - Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Required - Minimum Years of Experience: None
• Preferred - None
• Required - License, Registry or Certification: Graduate from an accredited nursing school; current New Jersey RN license, CPR certified, or obtain certification within 6 months
• Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Good communication and interpersonal skills, decision making ability, telephone etiquette, detail and multitasking oriented, ability to handle a high volume of patients
