Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the outpatient dialysis clinics. The role involves managing daily operations, providing care to patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Description
- Directs the provision of safe and effective chronic hemodialysis therapy to patients.
- Delegates tasks to Patient Care Technicians and other direct patient care staff.
- Affirms patient care needs and assigns appropriate care.
- Maintains patient care staff through monitoring and ensuring adherence to facility policies and procedures.
- Trains and supports new staff as needed.
- Participates in staff meetings and educates patients on ESRD, dialysis therapy, and related health conditions.
- Ensures accurate and complete documentation of patient care.
- Monitors and adjusts treatment plans based on patient responses and physician instructions.
- Ensures proper handling of emergency situations and maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Administers medications and ensures compliance with legal and departmental requirements.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Success Profile
The ideal candidate must have dialysis experience and strong management skills. Prior direct patient care experience is preferred, particularly in areas like ICU, PCU, and surgery.
