Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Key Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Monitoring and documenting patient data pre-, during-, and post-treatment, and adjusting care as needed.
• Providing education to patients and families about treatment options and health management.
• Administering medications, assisting with emergency responses, and ensuring safe delivery of therapy.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, supervising direct care staff, and participating in staff training.
• Ensuring proper laboratory procedures and updating patient care plans.
• Completing CAP requirements for advancement and performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current state licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience, with preferred experience in hemodialysis.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks in a healthcare environment.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and clinical skills.
