Outpatient Registered Nurse - RN

Role: Outpatient RN CAP 1, an entry-level registered nurse position in a renal care setting, responsible for delivering and coordinating safe, effective hemodialysis treatment. Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, develop and modify care plans, administer medications, assist with emergency responses, provide patient and family education, ensure proper lab procedures, and collaborate with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes. Supervise and train staff as needed and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing school, current state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience (preferred). Strong assessment, communication, teamwork, and adherence to policies are essential. Physical Demands & Environment: Involves heavy lifting, prolonged standing, patient mobility assistance, and exposure to infectious materials within a healthcare facility. May require travel and working in various locations.
