About the role
At LifeStance Health, we provide evidenced-based, medically driven treatment services for individuals suffering from various mental health issues in an outpatient care setting. Psychiatrists work in-person or in hybrid models, setting their own scheduled hours and appointment lengths. Our Care Matching model allows you to build a caseload aligned with your interests and areas of expertise.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to patients in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions as part of your clinical practice
- Participate in regular Grand Rounds and consult hours with clinical leadership
- Receive training in innovative therapies such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
- Supervise newly graduated PMHNPs if interested in teaching
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- A valid medical license in Massachusetts (or willing to obtain prior to start date)

- Experience in providing psychiatric care
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for evidence-based, medically driven treatment services
