Outpatient Psychiatrist (Child or Adult)

About the role

At LifeStance Health, we provide evidenced-based, medically driven treatment services for individuals suffering from various mental health issues in an outpatient care setting. Psychiatrists work in-person or in hybrid models, setting their own scheduled hours and appointment lengths. Our Care Matching model allows you to build a caseload aligned with your interests and areas of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to patients in an outpatient setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners
• Conduct psychotherapy sessions as part of your clinical practice
• Participate in regular Grand Rounds and consult hours with clinical leadership
• Receive training in innovative therapies such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
• Supervise newly graduated PMHNPs if interested in teaching

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• A valid medical license in Massachusetts (or willing to obtain prior to start date)
