Outpatient Psychiatrist, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience

Job Overview

The UC College of Medicine is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. The final rank and title will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and professional accomplishments.

Essential Functions

• Direct patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Opportunity for administrative and leadership roles, participation in quality improvement, peer supervision, and formal mentorship.
• Opportunities for clinical research at various UC Health facilities, hospitals, and other local health care systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior to effective date of appointment, must have all of the following:
• MD/DO or equivalent degree
• Active and Unrestricted Ohio Medical License
• Completion of a 4-year Psychiatry residency

Additional Qualifications Considered

• Board eligible/board certified in General Psychiatry

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
