Outpatient Physical Therapist - $43-65 per hour

About the role

Outpatient Physical Therapist position in Dallesport, Washington (serving The Dalles, Oregon area). Adventist Health Columbia Gorge operates a 49‑bed hospital, medical offices, home health, birthing center, and other services throughout The Dalles and surrounding communities. The role involves planning and conducting treatment program segments to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions while meeting department objectives and serving as co‑leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.

Responsibilities

• Complete evaluations to ensure quality standards and address assessment areas requiring attention.
• Use appropriate clinical techniques and tools to establish individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques.
• Establish individualized care and discharge plans and ensure plans are communicated to appropriate parties.
• Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervise assigned assistants.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required; only if license obtained on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent.
• Two years’ physical therapy experience preferred.
• Current physical therapy licensure in the state of practice required.
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy required.
• Facility‑specific BLS certification from an approved vendor per Adventist Health policy required.
• All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment (annually thereafter where applicable); medical and religious exemptions may apply.
