Responsibilities

Performs a range of duties to include but not limited to patient registration, ordering tests, specimen procurement and specimen processing.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Work Experience: No experience required; 1 year Phlebotomist experience Preferred; Experience in a hospital Preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: PHEL - Phlebotomy Trained - Completion of Phlebotomy clinical training through on-the-job training or through a phlebotomy program Preferred; CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification - Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
