About the role
Coordinates the daily operations of the pharmacy technician staff at the assigned location. Acts as a daily resource for the technicians and provides guidance regarding technical and operational information. In addition, provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and the monitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy Practice Sections. Other duties as assigned.

- Provide technical and clerical assistance to pharmacists in processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy
- Procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under pharmacist supervision
- Function within Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy Practice Sections
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam (PTCE) or the National Healthcareer Association exam (ExCPT) required within 6 months of hire
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred
- Leadership training preferred

Pay
- $5,000 sign on bonus
