Outpatient Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist

Responsibilities

Provides pharmaceutical services supporting all outpatient activities. This includes prescription processing, patient counseling, technician oversight, clerk oversight, record keeping, billing and adjudication (prior authorization), physician communication, computer operating system use and record keeping. Performs all duties conforming to CMHS organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Current California Pharmacist License.
• Three (3) years of experience in outpatient pharmacy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (M.A.) or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm D)

Pay

Compensation Salary Range: $67.16 - $91.85 per hour. The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.
